This is the official site of the Sun Hills Homeowner’s Association
Sun Hills Estates is located in Northern El Paso County between Colorado Springs and Monument, Colorado, and consists of 148 5- to 10-acre home sites with the majority of custom homes currently established. The Sun Hills Homeowners Association was formed as a non-profit organization in 1983 to preserve, protect and improve our unique community and quality of life. Membership dues are currently $100 annually and are voluntary. The HOA has a Board, and Architectural Control Committee (ACC) which maintains our quality of life by ensuring new buildings meet existing requirements.
The residents of Sun Hills, at 7000 feet above sea level, enjoy majestic views of the front range with Pikes Peak dominating the horizon. Many lots have an unequaled view of the United States Air Force Academy, the Colorado Springs valley, Cheyenne Mountain and the Spanish Peaks (over 150 miles away). Others are beautifully sheltered in Scrub Oak and Pine Trees creating a true Rocky Mountain environment.
The North Gate to the United States Air Force Academy is directly west and within 3 miles of Sun Hills. Convenient to I-25, Sun Hills is only minutes from Colorado Springs, 25 minutes from Castle Rock and 35 minutes from the Denver Technological Center. The local town of Monument, about two miles to the northwest and straddling interstate 25, serves as a very convenient base for local shopping, dining, and recreational opportunities.
Residents of Sun Hills are in the Academy District 20 School area, but close proximity to Monument means students can choice into the Lewis Palmer School District too.
